Sirens of Rockaway, Rockaway Beach, NY 2023

Print selected for Skidmore College Schick Gallery Juried Student Exhibition 2024

This series aims to capture the atmospheric lull that falls over a late August day on the Atlantic. The photos reimagine historical imagery of sirens, transforming an eerie and seductive icon into a representation of the girlish persona women can revert to in safe companionship, the return to the act of play.
